LiverSWAT is taking liver health awareness on the road again, and our next event will be held at Sangat TV, Birmingham, on Sunday 18th January 2026. The day will bring together doctors, volunteers, and local communities for free FibroScan liver health checks, health education, and live discussions about liver health and prevention. Everyone is welcome — come learn, take part, and support this important community initiative.

You must book an appointment to make sure that we can manage capacity for the event.
A FibroScan is a quick, non-invasive, and painless ultrasound-like test that measures liver stiffness (fibrosis), giving a snapshot of your liver health.
The scan itself only takes about 5-10 minutes.
Do I need to prepare for the scan in any way?
For the most accurate results, we recommend fasting for 3 hours before your appointment. You can drink water.
What happens during the appointment?
You'll check in, have a brief chat with a healthcare professional, have the FibroScan, and then receive your results and a brief explanation on the same day.
Will I get my results immediately?
Yes, you will receive your results via email.
Yes, all your personal health information and results are treated with strict confidentiality.
Yes, there is free parking available at the venue. We recommend arriving early to secure a convenient space.
